DETAIL

PULLMAN RAILROAD PORTER JACKER CHANGE BUTTON...

1920s
PULLMAN COMPANY
This is a Railroad Porter jacket.

One-pocket design
The front is a change button.
The old stitching is the best.

At a relatively recent estate sale in the United States
Three of them were found together.
This is one of the items.

The others are collectors who publish books related to Eastern workwear and
It seems to have ended up at an LA dealership.

The color is cornflower blue.
I heard that this is a very rare color for a Porter jacket.
Even with twill jackets from the same era...
I've hardly ever seen anything other than white or off-white.

It's a collectible item.
Can be worn like a coverall.
I think it's a striking color.
