Product Description
~1920's THE HENDERSON AMES CO. Secret Society Robe...
~1920s
THE HENDERSON AMES CO.
The dealer who owned it was from around the 1940s.
They explained it as a fraternity outfit.
In reality, it's not that; it's the costume of an even older secret society.
The outer fabric is a moleskin-like material.
The lining is made of a thin cotton fabric that resembles gauze.
It's the kind of fabric you'd see on the lining of the placket of an old work shirt.
The lower half
By decorating with sequins
It's clear that this is an outfit for a special occasion.
Actually, when I tried it on...
I bought it thinking it was a front-opening robe.
In reality, the side with the buttons was the back.
It's difficult to button up all the buttons by myself.
Normally, you can wear it like a robe.
Just like I was, of course, there's no problem.
The costume is simple
A good look that is actually suitable for wearing.
As shown in the image.
The stand-up collar doesn't feel constricting.
I think it will be comfortable to wear.
By layering jackets
Decorations are exposed
I think it's pretty cool.
