I acquired some rare herringbone caps.
This one is an even rarer, extra-large size.
This work cap, also known as a mechanic's cap, was issued to pilots as well.
Both sides
The USAAF stamp is still clearly visible.
In photographs of soldiers from that time, you can see that they are wearing their visors pulled up.
The actual size is approximately 59cm.
The original design has a shallow fit.
No noticeable damage, in good condition.
Like the N-3 cap that will be sold at the same time, opportunities to purchase this item are rare, so why not take advantage of this chance?
