The owner's grandfather owned it from 1932 to 1962.

I bought it as a uniform for when I worked at a Ford repair shop.
The two hats were also stored together.
This mechanic coat gives you a sense of the historical context of that time.

I think it's a coat from around the time of the war or earlier.
It has a tag that can also be seen on items from the 1930s.

I think you can wear it with confidence because the fabric is thicker than chambray.
There is almost no fading, and the condition is very good.

The hat is made of chambray fabric.
It shows some signs of wear, but is still wearable.

The size is on the larger side.
When you actually try it on, it's not that big of a deal.

Even those who usually choose smaller sizes like 36 or 38 can wear it over a sweater.
One of the appeals of a shop coat is that it doesn't look out of place even when worn oversized.

I think this is a special item that won't be found again anytime soon.
