This is a jack flag for U.S.N. vessels.
One side is sun-faded, giving it an amazing texture.

The rope and brass carabiners
were originally for quick attachment.

I think it's convenient
because it can be easily displayed on walls or ceilings.

I was also drawn to the design with only stars,
which is different from the Stars and Stripes.
