DETAIL
JAPAN SOUVENIR JACKET (Sukajan) with double-sided patch pockets and TOYO zipper...
JAPAN
SOUVENIR
Sukajan (Japanese souvenir jacket)
From the late 1940s to the 1950s
One of the earliest pieces
The embroidery features dragons, tigers, eagles, Mount Fuji, etc.
Double-sided snap pocket
The zipper is a rare brass TOYO rotary type.
This is a double-sided sukajan jacket.
The embroidery looks quite old.
The actual size feels more like a small (closer to a medium).
There are individual differences, however
This size is suitable even for those who usually choose a size M in sukajan jackets.
The condition is good and the repairs have been done properly.
It is in good used condition.
I'll write down the history of this jacket.
The stepfather of the woman who owned it this time
These were brought back from Japan after serving in World War II.
It seems my mother-in-law repaired the damage to this jacket back then.
Afterwards, the items that had been stored in the family's warehouse for many years were passed on to the children.
The process involved purchasing the item.
The repairs were a bit sloppy in some places.
I hope you will consider this history in a thoughtful way.
I think it's easier to get accepted.
High grade
I think this is a special sukajan jacket.
