This is a canvas bag used for selling charity newspapers back in the day.

Researching the "CHARITY EDITION" print, I found that it was stated that this bag was used by Detroit's Goodfellows from 1914 during the Christmas season when they sold newspapers to support children.

It's a compact and easy-to-use size.
The shorter strap is also a nice touch.

Since this bag was used for a limited period, I believe it is a rare item.
