This patchwork down scarf is made from upcycled reclaimed down jackets.

We undertook the production.
I found a lovely passage in the description of ALABAMA CHANIN, so I'll quote it here.

A large part of the beauty of this project is,
It exists in the past life of that down jacket.
We don't know what kind of "life" each of these jackets has led.
The person who owned it,
Whether that person loved it or not,
How much did you use?
You can't know what happened in your life when you used it.
These scarves, made from materials passed from one person to another,
Each of these is an asset that has already been passed down through generations.
Climbing mountains and sailing around the world,
The new owner is free to imagine what the scarf's predecessor might have been.
And every time you put it on,
Add your own value.
Add a new chapter to that life.
And then, at some point, it might be handed over to someone else.
If I could tell a story through this scarf,
What kind of story will it be?

It's filled with goose down, so it's nice and warm and practical.

These scarves are produced in limited quantities and include the artist's name and item number.

I think this scarf has all the qualities to be valued as a vintage item in the future.
