The owner is a former USAF soldier, and it was definitely painted in Japan at the time.

This jacket was also issued to airborne troops.

A magnificent pair of dragons,
The motifs of geisha, Mount Fuji, and cherry blossoms are far too extravagant.

The design is outstanding, and when I found it, it was love at first sight.

The name of the owner is printed at the very top.

I've seen pin-up art on field jackets before, but this level of painting, done from a different angle, is truly breathtaking.

Size indicated as 34R
Because it's a jacket originally designed to allow you to wear warm clothing underneath,
It's made on the larger side, and I think it's equivalent to a size 38 in actual size.

There are some areas where the print is peeling, but it's not in a state where it's falling apart.
You can own and wear it while maintaining this condition.

There is a small hole at the bottom of the back, resembling a spark. While it would look better if repaired, I consider this to be a genuine sign of age-related damage, so I will sell this jacket as is.

Aside from some minor scuffs on the collar and sleeves, I think it's in very good condition overall.

This is a wonderful piece that you can own as a unique archive item, as there are no other two like it.
