I don't know the official name, but it's a color that's a bit like wine red.
I think this brown is more refined than dark brown.
I think it's a really nice color.
As you may have noticed
Since it's a 505 model, it has a coin pocket and arcuate stitching.
It's unusual to see a 505 code instead of a 519 code.
Unused deadstock, but
The hems were already shortened when I purchased them.
The finish is indistinguishable from the original, so I don't think you'll mind.
