This is GAP from the late 80s, a particularly good period.

Indigo color
A crisp plain weave garment.
I think it's good that there's a slight unevenness in color throughout.

The key point is that the fabric isn't denim.
It's surprisingly hard to find this color in plain weave cotton.

At this time of year, a Gap label that says S is actually about ML in size.
This one wasn't very big.

It's a button-down shirt.
It doesn't look out of place even if you unbutton the collar.
Also pay attention to the double stitching on the collar and the puckering at the hem.
