This is a duck hunter, believed to be a civilian product from around the 1950s.
Side cargo pockets, etc.
I think the duck hunter from WWII was the design source.

Lightweight cotton fabric
The zipper is a TALON pinlock.
These are straight hair strands that aren't too thick.

The hem is designed so that the lining is not visible when folded up.
It was designed to be double-sided.

Since the length is originally on the shorter side
I think it would also look good folded up and worn as a cropped length.
