DETAIL
USAF EXPERIMENTAL TEST SAMPLE FLIGHT SUIT...
USAF
Flight suit
This is a test sample.
The label says "flight uniform".
The material is similar to gabardine, just like the jackets.
The front double zipper is SCOVILL
The size is marked as 40S (likely a SHORT size).
For reference, for people up to around 170cm tall,
I think it will fit well for someone with an average build.
This time, I'm going for a uniform-like look.
I thought it looked really good when worn in a casual, relaxed style, so I decided to sell it.
There are different ways to wear it.
Even when worn neatly, it has a refined elegance that sets it apart from workwear.
I think it depends on how you combine them.
Later, it seems that this type of flight suit was never adopted.
You can catch a glimpse of the trial and error involved in development at that time.
This is a valuable test sample.
