I think these are robes sold in Kyoto for foreigners.

It's smooth like nylon.

The shoddy quality of the print becomes apparent when enlarged.
This is a shoddy product that shows the commercialism of the time.

Nevertheless, I think the eye-catching colors are a nice touch, especially for souvenirs.
